Golden Eggs

Part II of the Dark Aesop trilogy.

Since the day you emerged from your birthing vat, the Farm is the only world you've ever known. The colossal machine shelters you and the other Fowl, attending your basic survival needs. In return for its care, you work. You work above and beyond your physical and psychological limits, until you can work no more and are Consumed by the system.

This cannot continue. You must be free. Whilst you continue the pretence of loyalty, fulfilling the Farm’s Work Orders as instructed, you save whatever reserves you can for the moment you can finally escape. If you’re lucky, you’ll have stockpiled enough to reach salvation.

One of your number is not like the others. They are Golden — a being of superhuman vitality, and the Farm’s most precious resource. For now, their identity is concealed, but the agents of the Farm are hunting, intent on capturing the Golden Fowl and painfully extracting every last drop of productivity.

Will you make a break for it alone? Sacrifice for the cause? Or Sell-Out to the Farm, and betray the Golden Fowl to secure your own future?

Golden Eggs is a one-shot, dystopian, tabletop RPG about labour exploitation for 4 to 7 players. All rules for the game's unique, simple system are included, along with play advice for Fowl and Farm players determined to somehow make it out on-top.

This game features abuse, imprisonment, exploitation of authority, and sudden unavoidable violence. Use of safety tools is highly recommended.
